Highland Mint Superbowl 38 Silver Flip Coin
Commissioned by the NFL this is a silver replica of the official coin used for the coin toss at the super bowl. The coin used for the toss is coin #1 and goes to the hall of fame after the game. This is the only coin licensed to feature the prestigious vince lombardi trophy. The silver coin is made of 1 troy ounce .999 fine silver and is strictly limited to a mintage of 7,500. The coin measures 1.5 inches in diameter. The front of the coin features the dueling helmets of the super bowl teams on either side of the trophy. The reverse sports the super bowl XXXVIII logo as well as the date, location of the game and individual coin serial number. Each coin is triple struck to the highest standards in minting tradition. Presented in a custom black velour jewelry box. Each coin is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity. Makes a great gift!
